Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect, where it comes from, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We wrote it to be honest and plain, so you can see exactly how our site and our outreach work.

What we collect

We collect the contact and business details we need to build and support your site: things like your name, email address, phone number, business name, services, hours, and any photos you send us. We also collect basic technical and usage information when you visit our pages, such as the pages you view, the links you click, your general device and browser type, and a rough region based on your network address.

Where we get your information

Some information you give us directly, such as when you claim a site or email us. We also find businesses through publicly available sources, such as public business listings and online directories, and we may build a preview site and reach out to the owner. If we contacted you this way, the business name, phone, address, and public rating we used came from those public listings, not from anything private. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time and we will.

Analytics, cookies, and how we measure visits

We use a first-party analytics pixel on our pages so we can understand how people find us and what is working. To do that, we assign your browser a persistent visitor identifier and store small cookies, some of which last up to 180 days. These let us recognize a returning browser and connect the pages and visits from the same browser over time. This is not anonymous aggregate data. It links your activity across pages and sessions so we can measure our marketing.

When you arrive from an ad or a campaign link, we capture the campaign tags on that link, including Google click identifiers, Facebook click identifiers, and standard UTM tags. We use these to understand which outreach and ads bring people in, and to connect a first visit to a later demo and purchase for attribution.

We also use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google, as a third-party analytics provider. Google receives usage information about your visit and processes it under its own terms. If we run ads, that same click information helps us measure them.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your information for money. We share it only with the service providers that help us operate, and only so they can do their work for us. Those providers fall into a few categories:

Because we capture ad click identifiers and use analytics and ad tools, some privacy laws may treat that as “sharing” for targeted advertising. You can opt out as described below.

How long we keep it

We keep your business and account information for as long as we host your site and as long as we need it to run our business and meet legal and tax duties. The visitor identifier and analytics cookies expire on their own, up to 180 days from your most recent visit, unless you clear them sooner. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove what ties it to you.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, to ask us to delete it, and to opt out of the sharing described above. To use any of these rights, email us at hello@easywebsitescheap.com and a person will help. We will not treat you differently for exercising a right.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sharing for that browser.

Keeping your information safe

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us. No method of storage is perfect, but we treat your details with care.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with a fresh date at the top.
