Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Easy Websites Cheap and the website we build for your business. Easy Websites Cheap is operated by HappyDale Holding LLC. In these terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean that company. By claiming a site with us, you agree to what is written here. We keep it short and plain on purpose.

What we do

We build a finished website for your business, and we show it to you before you decide. You review it, and you only keep it if you want it. When you claim your site, you pay a one-time fee to make it yours. There is no contract and no long-term commitment.

Hosting and support

We host your site so it stays online, and we handle edits for you. When you want a change, you send us a message and we make it. Support is handled by a real person, not a form you have to learn.

Your content

You are responsible for the accuracy of the business details you give us, such as your name, services, hours, and photos. You confirm that you have the right to use any photos or text you send us. If something on your site is wrong, tell us and we will fix it.

Your domain

When your site needs a web address, we register and manage the domain for you so it is set up correctly and stays online. To do that, we are listed as the registrant of record with our domain registrar while we manage it for you.

You are not locked in. After the first 60 days you can move the domain to your own registrar account and take it with you. That 60 day wait is an ICANN rule that applies to any newly registered domain, not something we add, and we help you make the transfer when you are ready.

Acceptable use

Please do not use your site for anything unlawful or misleading. We may decline or remove content that breaks the law or puts your visitors at risk.

Payments

The claim fee is a one-time charge. Hosting keeps your site online as described when you claim it. If you are not satisfied, see the refund terms below.

Refunds

We want you to be happy with your site. If you are not, we make it easy to get your money back.

If you are not satisfied within 14 days of claiming your site, email us and we will refund your claim fee. You do not need to explain why. We just want it to be fair.

One part is different. If we registered a domain for you, that domain registration fee is non-refundable, because the registrar charges it the moment the address is bought and does not return it. Everything apart from that domain fee is refunded, and we send the refund within 14 days of your request. You keep the domain for the term it was registered.

To request a refund, send a message to hello@easywebsitescheap.com from the email you used to claim your site, and tell us you would like a refund. A person will handle it and confirm when it is done.

When you take a refund, we stop hosting the site we built for you. If you set the site up on your own web address, that address is still yours to keep.

If something about your site is not right, reach out before you decide. Often a quick edit fixes it, and we are glad to make the change.

Who owns what

The words, photos, and business details you give us stay yours. You keep all rights to your own content, and taking a refund or leaving does not change that.

The template, the code, the 3D visuals, and the design work that make up the site we build are ours. While we host your site, you have a license to use all of it as your live website. That license is not a transfer of ownership of the underlying template or code, and it runs for as long as we host the site for you.

The site is provided as is

We build and host your site with real care, but we provide it as is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not make warranties of any kind, whether stated or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the site will be error free or available without interruption.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected to Easy Websites Cheap or your site is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for lost profits or lost business. Some places do not allow these limits, so parts of this may not apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute that is not resolved between us will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and you and we agree to that venue.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the business grows. When we do, we will post the new version here with a fresh date at the top.
